Young Canadians want less addictive AI chatbots, report finds
It's being dubbed a tech lash, a backlash against technology companies pushing ahead on Artificial Intelligence with few, if any, guardrails. Even those who have grown up with rapid technological change say it's time to rein in. Canadians between the ages of 17 and 23 want companies to make their chatbots less addictive. That's according to new research out of McGill University's Centre for Media, Technology and Democracy. Touria Izri reports.
