Saving Journalism: What Can We Learn From Other Countries?

Professors Taylor Owen and Anya Schiffrin hosted a conversation with Steve Waldman, Julia Cagé, and Edward Greenspon. They discussed trends around the world to support media outlets, ranging from tax subsidies to philanthropic support by non-profits and new laws addressing inequality in bargaining power between news content producers and digital platforms.

This event was part of a series of webinars to launch Anya Schiffrin’s report Saving Journalism: A Vision for the Post-covid World.
